Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you to the 347 Elementary, Middle and High Schools who took
part in our initial practice question offering. These questions
were used in leagues, invitational tournaments, scrimmages, and
just for practice!
Due to such a great response, we are able to lower our
pricing this year (see below)!
Questions Offered
At each grade level--Elementary, Middle Grades and High
School--KAAC will provide:
The Quick Recall sets follow Governor's Cup guidelines: 65
questions per Elementary round, 85 questions per Middle Grades
round, and 105 questions per High School round.
Each Elementary Written Assessment exam has 25 questions, and each
Middle Grades and High School exam has 50 questions. There are
no tiebreaker or Focus Work questions on the written exams.
How the Questions May Be Used
Schools may choose any of the three options below:

Existing leagues at all grade levels may use them for league play.

New leagues may form and use them.
How you structure your league is totally up to you; you can even
choose the "Practice Group" format many elementary schools used
last year. KAAC will play no role in the formation or
administration of either
leagues or practice groups.

Use them for an invitational tournament and invite schools who
want to practice on Governor's Cup-style questions.
