High School Governor’s Cup Competition Set to Begin

On January 31st and February 1st, over 5000 Kentucky high school students will gather at 64 sites across the commonwealth for the 23rd annual Governor’s Cup academic competition, sponsored by the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition (KAAC). 

Governor's Cup Events include five Written Assessment exams, Composition, Future Problem Solving and Quick Recall, the only event open to the public. The Quick Recall event begins at 10:30 prevailing local time and is open to the public.

The top five contestants in Written Assessment and Composition, and the top two Quick Recall and Future Problem Solving advance to regional competitions. The Middle and High School division Governor’s Cup concludes at the Kentucky Academic Championships, March 15-17 in Louisville.
