Elementary Governor’s Cup Competition February 26 and March 1

On February 26 and March 1, over 10,000 Kentucky Elementary students will gather at 135 sites across the commonwealth for the 23rd annual Governor’s Cup academic competition, sponsored by the Kentucky Education Savings Plan Trust and administered by the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition.

Events include five Written Assessment exams, Composition, Future Problem Solving (which was held Thursday) and Quick Recall, the only event open to the public. The Quick Recall event begins at 10:30 prevailing local time and is open to the public.

The top five contestants in Written Assessment and Composition, and the top two Quick Recall and Future Problem Solving advance to regional competitions March 20 and 22.
