CHECK-IN    

1.      Check-in for coaches and players will be on Tuesday, June 17 from 1 to 3 PM in the lobby in the second level of the Cralle Student Center.

2.      All camp staff will meet at 11 AM Tuesday at “Camp HQ” in the Rec. Center lounge.

3.      At check-in each camper will receive his/her room assignment and key, a schedule of camp activities and a camp notebook.

 

WHAT TO BRING

1.      Sheets (single beds only), pillow and pillowcase

2.      Towels and toiletry items

3.      Alarm device

4.      Umbrella

5.      Writing instruments (including highlighters)

6.      Notebook paper in a folder, or a spiral notebook

7.      Medications, if applicable (see below)

8.      Calculator, if you designated Mathematics as a major area

9.      Snacks (NO ENERGY DRINKS OR CAFFEINATED SODA)

 

MEDICATIONS—INSTRUCTIONS

1.      Make sure your child’s medications are in their original containers, which must include dosage instructions

2.      Place medications inside a Ziploc® bag.

3.      Include any special instructions inside the bag.

4.      With permanent marker, write the child’s name and a guardian’s emergency phone number on the outside of the bag.

 

LODGING

Rooms are double occupancy with community baths. We will do everything possible to accommodate roommate requests, but there are no guarantees.

 

DRESS

Dress is casual at camp functions. Shorts are the preferred dress as it may be hot. Dress modestly at all times--there will be no barefoot or scantily-clad campers!

 

MAJORS/MINORS

We will not be able to accommodate changes to majors or minors after June 5.

 

SECURITY

NO ONE MAY LEAVE CAMPUS UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY A GUARDIAN. Students will be formed into groups of 10 and will meet at least three times daily with a resident assistant. The dorms are well supervised at night by Georgetown College staff.
