KAAC offers written assessment examinations in five subject areas:
To find out more about the content areas for the tests, click here. Middle Grades and High School exams consist of 50 questions and are multiple choice. Elementary exams consist of 30 questions and are multiple choice. Elementary exams have 6 tiebreaker questions that are scored ONLY if ties occur among the top five places. At Middle Grades and High School District and Regional, there are 10 tiebreaker questions. At the State Finals, there are two sets of 10 tiebreakers.
